Formed in the 1950’s, the the first CBM visits were made to France, Norway and what was then British Guyana.

The 1960’s saw the formation of the Australasian CBM to expand the work in Asia and the Western Pacific and the Pacific Coast CBM, based in USA, with responsibility for Central America. Over the next 30 years, the mission field spread, with particular growth in Africa.
